Bio: Allen Wirfs-Brock is a Mozilla Research Fellow and currently spends most of his time working on evolving the JavaScript programming language and the future of application development. He is project editor for ECMA-262, the JavaScript standard language specification and is currently working on finishing the next edition. He was a pioneering implementer of object-oriented languages and, as a technical and entrepreneurial leader, helped drive the emergence of object-oriented programming as a main-stream technology.
